Witless Bay
Witless Bay has a population of 1,070 and grew slightly from 1.3% between 2001 and 2006. The median age is 41.4 years. There are about 385 single detached houses in the town. In 2005 the median household income was $56,719. The services are important industries employing residents of Witless Bay, but manufacturing, construction and resource based industries also employ many people in town. About 72% of residents commute outside of Witless Bay to get to their usual place of work (Statistics Canada 2006 Census).
