Obtaining the views and opinions of citizens of the region are an important part of the process of preparing the Northeast Avalon Regional Plan. Four rounds of public consultations are planned over the course of the planning process and these will take place throughout the region.

VISIONING SESSIONS IN FALL 2009

PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT TO DATE
Three successful public forums were held during the final week of May, 2009 in Witless Bay, Mount Pearl, and Torbay. Thanks to everyone for good discussions and great ideas. The posters boards that were displayed at the forums are available for your information.
A public survey about regional issues was online in June and July of 2009 and is now closed. Thank you to everyone who provided input through completed questionnaires. Results from the survey will be summarized and analyzed in the Issues and Analysis Report, and will be posted on the website in the coming months.
